Hidden spot in a strip of random stores off of East Valley Highway tucked away from visibility serves some of the best authentic Vietnamese food in the area. From traditional family style meals to lunch plates and easy grab and go banh mis, this place doesn’t mis. The OG owner is awesome. He remembers my kids orders, always brings out some sort of drinks and fresh cut fruit to end the meal like the old days. My favorite is the special rice plate. Com Dac Biet but have never had a bad meal here. Where else can you have some pho, Watch playoff basketball and catch wheel of Fortnite all at the same time?
Went in around 2pm on Saturday. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. I have been here a few times and they are very consistent with their food portion/quality. The owner guy is always nice and friendly. I hope they have more customers even during non rush hour. We got spring roll (grilled pork & shrimp), duck noodle and salad, vietnamese mini pancakes (pork, shrimp and plenty of fresh herbs/lettuce) and fermented noodles (bun mam. I stuffed my face and forgot to snap a pic of this). Everything was delicious! My personal favorite was bun mam. They are generous with their toppings which include shrimps, bid pieces of roasted pork and fish fillet, fish cakes, egg plants. Highly recommended!
108 is truly one of my favorite spots! They always have the friendliest service, and the owner is so welcoming and kind every time. The food is consistently amazing, with authentic entrées that really stand out. I especially love their bánh khọt—so flavorful and perfectly made. Highly recommend!
